Student from Marquette University discovered dead in a dorm room

The body of a Marquette University student was found in Cobeen Residence Hall late on April 17. The Marquette University Police were called at about 10 p.m.

In the late hours of April 17, a Marquette University student’s body was discovered in Cobeen Residence Hall.

The student has been identified as Kamrin Ray, 19, by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office. Authorities claim that the autopsy revealed no signs of trauma, and toxicology results will determine the cause of death. According to authorities, this death is not being treated as suspicious and is most likely a natural death.

A student who wasn’t responding to calls was attended to by the Marquette University Police Department. MUPD officers attempted to save the student’s life, however upon arrival it was determined that they had failed.
